Preparedness 101: Zombie apocalypse
Some
people are prepared for any kind of danger out there no matter if it’s an
earthquake or even a tornado. Like when Max Brooks says” if your house is not
structurally ready for a zombie attack, various measures can be employed to
fortify it”. He says that because the people who rent should start making
changes now because you never know when a zombie apocalypse is going to happen.
So for the people who aren’t prepared here are some tips to stay alive.
First, in this article “Preparedness 101: Zombie
Apocalypse” by Ali Kahn he states that everybody should be ready or prepared
for a zombie apocalypse because you never know when it will happen. He states
that to take an emergency kit with medications. Also bring all the things that
help you stay alive like tools, clothing, bedding, and sanitations and hygiene.
He says that “Pick a meeting place for your family to regroup in case zombies
invade your home’’. He says that because in case your family or friends that
you’re with all get split up then everyone would know where to go. Also have a
list of emergency contact listed so in case if you get trapped or something
calls the cops or someone so they can go help you. Another thing that khan says
is “Plan your evacuation route. When zombies get hungry they won’t stop until
they get food, which means you need to get out of town fast!” he says this
because its true zombies don’t know when to stop so try to get out of town
fast. Kahn says that not only would scientist be working to identify the cause
and cure of the zombie outbreak, but CDC and other federal agencies would send
medical teams and first responders to help those in affected areas.
Next in this pamphlet “how to survive the zombie
apocalypse using science” by Dr.Bradley he states that knowhow and zombies
react. He also talks about what and not what to do to help you survive. Another
thing he talks about is the defect that they have like the slow moving zombies
and easily distracted zombies. He says that to stay alive since the zombies
have immunity to pain which means that they don’t feel pain that don’t
try to fight them cause they won’t feel it. Bradley says “use your head; cut
off theirs!” he says that because if you want to survive you can’t take dumb
move you have to outsmart the zombies. He also says cut their head off because
that’s the only way for them die. Dr.Bradley said ‘’it’s a marathon, not a
sprint. Unless it is a sprint then sprint!” He says this because when your
running don’t try to waist all your breath and energy to out run the zombie, but
if their close and almost going to get you then sprint as fast as you can.
Last in this article ‘’the zombie survival guide’’
by Max Brooks he tells you how to stay alive in your home and surrounding. He
says that boarding the windows will only last about 24 hours. He also talks
about that what type of guns to carry and also what attachments you should have
on them. He states that what he should have for our household like gasoline
generators and also fifteen emergency flare guns. Apartments are better than a
house unless you have a tornado one, but its better because if you live
upstairs the zombies are not hand coordinated so it would be hard for them to
get up the stairs and also there’s a lot of people that live there so that
means you’ll have more help. Brooks said ‘’once the private residence is
secure, stockpiling for a siege must be undertaken.” He says this because when
the house or apartment is secure to still be on guard because you never know
what could happen. He also says “There is no telling how long it would take for
help to arrive. There is no telling if help ever will. Always be prepared for a
long siege. Never assume a quick rescue.” He says this because no one knows
when help would come they just hope for it so have all the necessities you need
to survive as long as you can.
