The Sociology of Leopard Man

This man is about a man named Logan Feys who gives his honest opinion about a man named leopard man. Leopard man is a person who tries to dress and gets tattoos all over his body to act and look like a leopard. This article s named ‘’The Sociology of Leopard Man’’ which is a non-fiction article. Logan Feys in this article says ‘’I find myself impressed with individuals who radically change their appearance through extreme, tattooing, piercing, hair mutations, etc.’’ I disagree with him because people shouldn’t be judged on what they’re doing or what they look like.

            Leopard man is a guy who is 60 and lives in a small cabin and lives in the Scottish wilderness. the Logan Feys tries to argue that he doesn’t like people who change their looks like someone else. Logan says ‘’having failed to attract it in a positive form, they go for shock value.’’ He means that he doesn’t like people who are weird and people who crave attention.

            Logan Feys says ‘’could it be that the desire to ‘’fit in’’ has lead to these self inflicted diseases’’. I disagree because not everybody drinks to fit in or if they do it doesn’t always lead to a disease. I also disagree because being different cant lead you to have a disease like if you change your hair it can’t give you a disease.

            There is one that I agree with. Logan Feys says ‘’we are constantly under pressure to surrender our individuality to the will of the majority, the school, the work place, the family, etc’’. I agree because that’s true people are constantly under pressure and stress everywhere. But most of the things that Logan Feys say I disagree with.

my big mistake

It was the time I had moved to San Benito, Texas. I went to school for a couple of weeks. After a while some kid tried to make fun of me because I came from California. The day before we had planned to have a fight the next day. When I got home I told my dad that I was going to be in a fight and to be ready because he would have to come pick me up from school.  
 The next day was fight day. I got out of third block and I was pumped up. I went to lunch because I haven’t eaten anything that day. After lunch I felt energized and ready to go. We had to plan something fast and didn’t know where to fight but then we ran to the courtyard before the security came out and would have to split us up. I felt a rush through my body and I just rushed at him and I heard screaming and yelling from people watching. After the fight I felt my face to see if there was any blood on me and there wasn’t then I looked at the kid I fought and I seen blood all over his face. Out of nowhere a security ran and grabbed me from behind and started taking me to the office. When I got to the office they told me that I getting a referral and I’m suspended for three days. I was kind of happy because I didn’t like school and now I have a reason not to go.
My dad picks me up from school and it looked like he was mad but when we left he wasn’t he just wanted to know what happened and if I won. I told him it looked like it but it was kind of relaxing not going to school. My punishment from school was being in In school suspension for like two months. That’s where I learned my lesson the most. I would have to do like 100 squats and do 40 pushups and had to run 12 laps around the tennis courts in like 7 minutes. Also they would never let you go to the bathroom even if you really had to go. I also regret it because3 I started falling behind in school and I had B’s and they dropped to all F’s like in 1 week. That’s my biggest mistake that would haunt me for life.

11.      It all starts of when a wood crafter finds a piece of wood. When the wood crafter starts to craft it starts to talk. A person named Geppetto walks in and wants to buy wood to build a puppet so he could take around and make money. Well the wood crafter guy gives the talking wood to Geppetto and he starts crafting Pinocchio. When Pinocchio was finished being crafted he started be rude and being a trouble maker. Eventually Pinocchio wants to go to school so Geppetto goes sells his only jacket to get Pinocchio his school books. Well when Pinocchio was walking he saw people in from of a theater which cost him 4 pennies to get in. Pinocchio sold his school book to a kid for 4 pennies. When Pinocchio as inside he was causing a disturbance and a fire eater was going to burn Pinocchio but then the fire eater felt bad so he was going to burn a different puppet and it happened to be Pinocchio’s friend so Pinocchio tried to have the fire eater burn him so the fire burner gave Pinocchio five gold coins for bravery. Pinocchio ended walking into9 a wolf and a cat and they tried tricking him and tried to steal his coins. The cat and the wolf told Pinocchio that if he buries his coins that the next day he would have a lot more so when he did the wolf and the cat dug the coins up and ran. Geppetto gets eaten by a whale and Pinocchio ends up finding the whale and finds him so they escape and Pinocchio started working for Geppetto so he could survive and Pinocchio finds out that his special fairy is sick so he gives all his money he earned from working to her. She gets healed and she repays him with food and new clothes also turn him into a real boy.  

22.      The theme of this novel is to respect your parents and don’t be rude to others because when he was he kept on running into bad thing which got him into trouble and when he didn’t and was nice he was rewarded.

33.      The authors tone wasn’t really nice because Pinocchio was always rude and at the end Pinocchio was mostly lost. Like when he was always trying to get jacked.

44.       The one that symbolizes is his nose because when he lies it grows bigger so it represents honesty. His rudeness symbolizes bad karma. An example of being rude is ‘’Pinocchio jumped up in anger and threw a hammer at the talking cricket’’ (pg16).
